Michael Lewis, Rebecca Skloot hit comedy shows

The funny men, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, have authors of two serious and illuminating books scheduled for Monday and Tuesday. Michael Lewis will join Stewart on The Daily Show on Monday to discuss “The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine.” Writing in Sunday’s Outlook, Steven Pearlstein said, “If you read only one book about the causes of the recent financial crisis, let it be Michael Lewis's, ‘The Big Short.’”
On Tuesday, Rebecca Skloot, author of “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks” visits The Colbert Report. Eric Roston said in The Washington Post that Skloot’s book is “a deftly crafted investigation of a social wrong committed by the medical establishment.”
