Claiming the Annenberg project was in cahoots with the Weather Underground has always been laughable. I think Republicans underestimate how much it hurts them to wallow in this foolishness. Most people don't buy it and never will, being a community organizer for charitable foundations and volunteering on a school board are not generally considered subversive activities, except by the far right. In the end the constant repetition has driven their negatives through the roof.
I thought McCain showed a little of his old magic when he educated his base as to who the "real" Barak Obama is. A man he respects but disagrees with. I'd like to see more of that in politics.

I had a little machine problem myself. Between FDR, the bad mortgages and whole mess a pol can have problems. Now I'm under investigation. When this is over I am planning on heading for Europe. Maybe we can register absentee voters over there. If we can we will. If McCain wins this fight, I've been told he will rename Camp David to Camp Jimmy. If Obama wins, it's looking like Camp Jeremiah when they make up for old times sake. We'll see about it later.
