He seems a bit...conflicted, apparently he's been to Western PA and is too polite to comment on it.

John McCain is a smart, hard working, decent public servant, he's a hero in every sense of the word and I respect his service to the country as a soldier and as a statesman. If we don't respect men such as he, we have no future for the country.
That said, I'm still voting for Obama.
Republican economic theory is failing and a large part of that is due to their propensity to use "borrow and spend" in place of a sustainable economic policy.
Bluntly, he's too risky. We'll have to run defecits for the next few years to stimulate our way out of this mess but without middle class income growth, we are a pack of doomed bunnies.
