I read a lot of these "left flank/right flank" blog rolls. Thanks, BTW for posting the links here. I'm liberal but am of course interested in how things look to real people on the other side of the prism of American politics.
The many of the right wing blogs seem to think that John should have followed Palins example and started throwing mud as soon as they finished the handshake. They believe that Obama is a foreign national and a sleeper cell terrorist, so of course they are disappointed. What I think they fail to grasp is that they are the only people who believe that. With the issues currently going on with the economy, it would have ended McCains chances to have started off on a right wing flight of fancy.
The other thing the right side blogs fail to appreciate is just how damaged the Republican economic theory is. In an odd way Poppy Bush's claim that Reagans "Trickle Down" theory was "Voodoo Economics" has been born out by history, it just took his son employing the same policies to convince the electorate.
Who says God doesn't have a sense of humor?
