I think at some point, someone who is close to Dick Shelby needs to tell him to stop being an obstructionist for obstructionist sake -- even in Alabama, its political suicide. Course, in the style of hypocrisy that the Senator is famous for, he didn't mind once over the last eight years as he fought for government contracts for Mobile and several for projects in Alabama (particularly those that helped foreign companies relocate to to the state). Now, suddenly, a deep sense righteous indignation emerges from him. Again, whoever is advising the Senator better go get a better political compass than the one he has -- cause this one isn't working.
