Diversions: Jodie Fisher, actress and single mom, is woman behind ouster of HP's Mark Hurd
Jodie Fisher, the woman who made the sexual harassment accusations against Hewlett-Packard CEO Mark Hurd, also goes by Jodie Coady and Jodie Codie-Fisher. She's a reality TV contestant and actress who has also served as vice president of a commercial real estate company, according to her attorney.
Born in Dallas and a graduate of Texas Tech University, Fisher was most recently on the 2007 dating show "Age of Love" which pitted women against each other in competing for the attention of tennis star Mark Philippoussis.
Fisher played a bartender in the 2009 movie "Easy Rider: The Ride Back," a revisionist drama about the main character in Peter Fonda's original Easy Rider. She was a housewife in the 1998 movie "The Outsider," about a futuristic theme park where people interact with androids. And she was a telepath in the 1997 Star Trek video game Starfleet Academy.
She and Hurd met while she was working as a contractor for Hewlett-Packard's marketing department from 2007 to 2009. Fisher earned up to $5,000 per event to help organize and greet and introduce executives at functions.
Fisher said over the weekend that the two had resolved the claim privately and without litigation. In a statement, she said she was "surprised and saddened" that Hurd lost his job. She said it was never her intention and that "Mark and I never had an affair or intimate sexual relationship."
Los Angeles lawyer Gloria Allred said Fisher is now a "single mom focused on raising her son."

Jodie Fisher and marketing in the same sentence? She knows as much about marketing as Madam Heidi Fleiss.

TO THE EDITOR,
Will you PLEASE stop promoting this woman? This is exactly what she wants, free publicity to re-launch her reality TV career, clearly she cannot go back to soft-porn, she is too old. And as far as Hurd is concerned, he is an idiot, it infuriates me that he (like Carly Fiorina) walked away with millions for imcompetence (Fiorina) and bad behavior (Hurd).
