Economic agenda: Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011

At 9 a.m. -- House subcommittee on TARP and Financial Services meets about state and municipal debt crises.

At 10 a.m. -- Federal Reserve Board Chairman Ben Bernanke testifies before the House Budget Committee on the economic outlook and monetary and fiscal policy. This is the first time he'll be testifying before a Republican-dominated committee.

At 10 a.m. -- The House Financial Services domestic monetary policy subcommittee holds a hearing on monetary policy and job creation.

At 2 p.m. -- House Financial Services subcommittee holds a hearing on capital markets and GSE reform.
