At 10 a.m. -- The National Association of Realtors releases data on existing-home sales, which are expected to show that the pace of transactions edged down 1.5 percent in January, following a steep 12.3 percent rise in December.
At 10 a.m. -- The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation releases its report on bank performance in the fourth quarter.
At 11 a.m. -- Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank President Charles Plosser speaks on the economic outlook at the Rotary Club of Birmingham, Alabama.
At 12:30 p.m. -- Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank President Thomas Hoenig speaks at the Women in Housing & Finance meeting in Washington.
