At 8:15 a.m. -- ADP employment report on job creation in the private sector in February is released.

At 10 a.m. -- Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke testifies about "Challenges Facing State and Local Governments" before the House Financial Services Committee.

At 10 a.m. -- The Senate Commerce Committee holds a hearing on the future of American manufacturing.

At 1 p.m. -- Apple holds a press event where analysts believe the company will unveil the second-generation iPad.

At 2 p.m. -- The House subcommittee on Insurance, Housing & Community Opportunity holds a hearing on foreclosure mitigation programs.

At 2 p.m. -- The Federal Reserve Beige Book, a compilation of anecdotal reports on business conditions, is released.
