Life Is Rough At The GooglePlex
I paid a visit to Googleplex yesterday. And yes, everything you've heard is true.
The toilet seats are heated. There are comfy couches in front of huge TV screens. And the Google meals are quite tasty.
There are blue bicycles parked in front of the main building, complete with a basket in front and red flag in the back, so employees can get around the sprawling campus. It's a bustling place. It took me about half an hour to find a parking spot. Every inch of road-side parking was taken. I finally found a spot a few buildings away from where I was supposed to be.
I felt quite at home as I was circling the parking lots along with other Googlers waiting to pounce on an open space. Actually, I think I would have found parking in Dupont Circle faster than I did at Google. Now that's what I call traffic.
