Oddly, the Chicago Sun-Times ran an article about a (US Navy Hospital) corpsman who helped nurse LBJ back to health. Bright kid, he left college to join the Navy as a response to JFK's call to service. Graduated first in his class at the Navy school to earn the plum job of working at Bethesda.
He was Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama's former minister.
