Funeral Whistleblower Fired

A National Funeral Home employee who publicly supported allegations that the company was mishandling bodies at its Falls Church facility was fired last week for speaking to the media, the Washington Post's Josh White reports. The same day he was fired, the business issued a public denial of the allegations, which said the funeral home, overwhelmed with bodies from six area funeral homes, resorted to storing bodies in hallways, a back room and on unrefrigerated storage racks in a garage.
