The Clubfoot Cure

The only reason for this blog post is because I want to share a great photo of Dr. Ignacio Ponseti, whose obit ran today. Photo is from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and Dr. Ponseti is examining the bones of a foot. He perfected a nonsurgical technique 60 years ago for curing clubfoot in infants. The photo didn't make it into print but thanks to the wonders of blog publishing, here it is:
