Oldest ex-Giant dies at 97
The Daily Yomiuri brings us the news that baseball pitcher Hachiro Maekawa, a the oldest surviving ex-member of the Giants pro baseball team in Japan, died Tuesday due to respiratory failure. He was 97.

Giant in his lifetime, smallest man dies
The world's shortest man, He Pingping, has died at the age of 21, London's Daily Telegraph is reporting. He was 29 inches tall and died of "heart complications."

Baby giant anteater dies 1 week after birth
A baby giant anteater born at the Sacramento Zoo is dead. The female newborn, daughter of mama anteater Amber, was found dead on Tuesday morning during a routine check, says the Sacramento Bee. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
