Ruth, I loved your Q&A, especially where you prefaced every defense of Gwen Ifill with the fact that you two are longstanding friends. Wouldn't it have been nice if she had engaged in the same full disclosure with the Commission on Presidential Debates so that they could have made a fully informed decision? My quarrel is not that she's writing a book with Obama in the title, but that she withheld this potentially controversial fact from them. Should they really have to discover it through Google?
