Sarah Palin's star treatment

Sarah Palin
File photo - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. (AP Photo/St. Petersburg Times, John Pendygraft)

When I wrote yesterday that Sarah Palin is more interested in being an entertainer than a politician, I got it wrong. She's not an entertainer. Palin's a star! But thanks to some intrepid dumpster-diving students at California State University Stanislaus who were upset about Palin's impending visit, we see that the former governor of Alaska is easing into that role rather modestly.

Much is being made about the request for two unopened bottles of water and bendable straws, the specifications for lecterns and skirts for tables and the rather specific demands for types of aircraft and motor vehicle transportation. All of these requests and others in those six pages strike me as reasonable. That Palin's name never appears in the document (she's referred to throughout as "Speaker") leads me to believe that her requests are boilerplate language used for just about everyone represented by the Washington Speakers Bureau, which was handling the Cal State gig for Palin. They are the minimum, believe me.

Really big stars have demands that would have you asking an unprintable question that starts with "what." All you need to do is take a gander at the contract riders uncovered by The Smoking Gun to understand that Palin is capable of asking for a whole lot more from the people who want to hear her speak on the lecture circuit or see her on television. But don't worry. We all know she will be.

But BENDY STRAWS.. I mean is she afraid she will poke her eye out if she lifts the bottle too fast.
Oh and NO PRIMA DONNA there. She is just a poor simple Alaska girl. Wonder if she demands moose stew or a view of RUSSIA from her hotel room.

If they did nothing wrong, no need to shred and fill dumpsters the day before the inspectors came. Like Clinton/Lewinsky, the problem here is less what was done and more the impropriety in terms of the cover-up. People end up committing crimes just to save face sometimes.

It seems the claims that this is not about Sarah Palin are completely bogus...unless the students are digging into the trash there on a regular basis to find out all about the requests that the speakers there have in their contracts. I doubt this is the case.

It really is all about trying to marginalize Sarah Palin ... I find her to be completely innocuous, and I wonder what all these people are afraid of.

It's not about water. Every human being has to have water in order to survive.

It's the fact that Sarah Palin is a Bimbo.

It's no surprise to me that it was California students that went after her, because in this state, we just don't have any patience with Bimbos or people who just seem to be "stuck on stupid".

California is NOT Palin country.

each time any form of media puts palin in the public arena, she gets free publicity...wouldn't it be great if "The Media" placed a permanent freeze on any attention to her? and michelle bachmann?
also, if we readers who don't agree with either of them would simply not read the articles or watch tv segments about them, their media "importance" would be reduced.

A woman of the people, if the people are the priviledged and well connected.

Isn't it obvious to any but the dullest mind that Sarah Palin is using her celebrity and notoriety to line her purse and that her commitment to the people begins and ends with what can be put into her coffers as quickly as possible. Anyone paying 500 bucks to hear her canned speech sure can't be a believable advocate of fiscal responsibility.

By 2012 Sarah Palin will be the answer to a trivia question but between now and then she can put a ton of dough in the bank account and make certain she and the First Dude have a good life living in beautful downtown Wassila.

I commend the California students for following through as they did. The Speaker in question just goes all over the country breeding hate and discontent-she is a big Bi-Partisan Player, now isnt she? The people spoke in the election and she still hasn't gotten over it, even though she was not qualified for the position to begin with.

Fair write-up..don't see many of those these days.
You're correct about the items that stars and heavy weight speakers request for their appearances. And also correct that what the Palin camp has requested for her is pretty minimal stuff.
Regarding Sarah..say what you want, but here is a very young (46 I believe) lady who has already been on a championship basketball team, won beauty contests, was a TV sports reporter, knows how to handle the outdoors, married to a champion snowmobiler, elected to political offices from City Council, to Mayor, to Governor, been picked to as a VP candidate, wrote a best seller, and now commands big bucks to speak. What had you accomplished by age 46?? You can't be a Bimbo and have all that on your resume...
I think a lot of folks don't like her, 'cause she reminds them what failures they have made of their own lives..
She may not yet be Presidential material, but she's gettin' there fast, but she certainly is an embodiment of the American Spirit ! The way America used to be anyway. You Betcha :)

A fair write-up on Palin ? Wow !

But consider how much attention was paid to this standard boilerplate document that didn't even have her name on it ?

Has any politician ever had this level of attention and scrutiny ?

I recall a report from 2008 that journalists actually scrambled and successfully got access to the divorce documents of a Palin family friend... seeking a hoped for but unrealized connection between said friend and Tod Palin !

Her "compelling and very well done" biography (according to liberal New York Times reviewer Stanley Fish) attracted 11 Associated Press reviewers.. 7 more than were assigned to the 2400 page healthcare monstrosity.

The Lefts drooling over everything Palin indicates an obsession only matched by their devotion to Obama.

Why such attention ?

lindalovejones posts: "It's the fact that Sarah Palin is a Bimbo."

Who recently wrote the following ?

“Americans were promised the stimulus would keep unemployment under 8%. It’s now well over that."

“We were promised it would be targeted and pork-free. It’s been loaded with pork, corporate giveaways, union bosses’ goodies, and other manners of waste."

“We were promised there would be no fraud, but our government now tells us it can’t even verify the eligibility of people applying for the $325 billion worth of stimulus tax provisions."

“We were promised there would be strict oversight, but billions of dollars apparently were allotted to congressional districts that don’t even exist."

“We were promised it would provide “green jobs” for Americans, but 80% of the $2 billion they spent on alternative energy went to purchase wind turbines built in China!"

“We were promised it would help state governments weather the recession, but states receiving the stimulus bait will be in worse fiscal shape now because local governments will be on the hook for new unfunded mandates and continuation of government programs they couldn’t afford in the first place – as many governors warned state legislatures."

“One year later, we see plainly that the stimulus was not a well-thought out plan. It hasn’t revived our economy; instead the debt-ridden package will prove to be a drag on our economy. It hasn’t put us on the path to a better future; instead it’s unfairly mortgaged our children’s future and stolen opportunities from them. It hasn’t strengthened us; instead it endangers our freedom and security by making us even more beholden to foreign lenders."

"The legacy of the stimulus isn’t jobs or economic growth – it’s more dangerous debt."

Ouch… the above cogent analysis provided by that Bimbo Sarah Palin.

It is so interesting how many of you in the liberal media are so obsessed with marginalizing Sarah Palin. For, no matter what you say, this woman has some good accomplishments behind her. And her unsophisticated ways drive you liberal snobs crazy. Please answer me why her first book sold millions as it did. Answer why is it that she attracts so many people when she goes out to speak. I realize that she has much to learn yet, but I also see that Sarah Palin is a quick learner and her way of connecting to people draws many. After the experience that we are having with this phony President who is insisting on bringing our country to its worst, it is certainly refreshing to hear Ms. Palin. I guarantee you that this woman is a force to be reckoned with and would be quite influential in the reclaiming of our country. She may not yet be presidential material, but we need to admit that she is a great force that attracts many and thanks to her the retaking of our country will be possible.

And that is why you are so afraid and don't relent on your attacks.

Be mindful that the last straw was seeing this President, the Great Appeaser, bowing to the Chinese President. Where is the dignity on this act? Certainly that is more convincing that any of his demagoguery and a picture is certainly quite influential.

So, be afraid of Sarah Palin, because she will bring Obama's regime down. We can't wait for November and 2012. A one term President and one of our worst ever!

Mark my words. You betcha!

If this shows that Palin is a star, what do you call Nancy Pelosi using govt planes for her & her family's personal use, and her running up a $101,000 bar tab at the taxpayers expense?
What about Al Gore's requests of:
"$100,000, plus travel, hotel, security, and per diem expenses. Gore's standard speaker's contract, a copy of which you'll find below, also stipulates that the Democrat's ground transportation be "a sedan, NOT an SUV." Additionally, Gore requests that speech sponsors make every effort to use a hybrid vehicle for his transport. The Gore contract, which is more restrained than the one used by Rudolph Giuliani, stipulates that no press be permitted at the event and that the Democrat receive approval over the distribution of photographs from the appearance."
That Gore sure is a diva!
It's almost too funny, you will crawl Palin for asking for the same thing as Gore, and you will let Pelosi run up a $101,000+ bar tab on the taxpayers dime.
No wonder the Tea party is growing bigger every day.
The liberal mantra of "Do as I say, not as I do" is so old.

Gypsy, you neglected a few facts from your summarization of the life of Sarah Palin. She also attended four different colleges in five years, quit her first TV job after a brief stint, quit her job as Alaska Energy Conservation Commission chairperson after one year, and resigned as governor after only two years. She scribbles talking points on the palm of her hand to answer questions during an interview. Ironically she didn't have to consult her hand during her speech because she didn't say anything of substance. Oh yes, she makes big money speaking at public events only because Americans love to reward talentless celebrities. She said she will donate the speaking fee she "earned" at the Tea Party convention to the "conservative cause". That would be her. YOU BETCHA!

It's really disturbing that her opponents will go to such lengths simply LOOKING for dirt on her, and when they find nothing, they struggle for ways to make it into a story.
So what if she requests "flexible straws" for her appearances? EVERY SPEAKER WHO CONTRACTS FOR AN APPEARANCE MAKES DEMANDS, SOME MORE THAN OTHERS. If you think only "BIMBOS" make goofy demands like that, then I guess we've got different priorities.

CMAN27...I was confused with your post until I realized you include your IQ in your display name. You seem to think that attending multiple colleges means something negative?? Perhaps you have a degree or two?? I attended 3 Universities myself...why? I changed majors and Universities offer different degree programs, so you try to go to the one that offers what you want. There's nothing significant about changing schools...Didn't seem to hurt Sarah.. the Alumni Association of N Idaho College awarded her its Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award. How about you? got one of those??
Also what's so earth-shattering about quitting or changing jobs or resigning Commissions?? Have you noticed any Obama "advisors" "quitting"?? Know any Dem CongressPersons who have decided not to run ? Are they quitters? If you decide you want to kick it up a notch and actually get informed, you might try looking into the REASONS why folks decide to move on...and in Sarah's case, move up. If she was a "quitter" as so many weaker minded folks like to paint her....she wouldn't be where she is today..a very much in demand young lady with a huge and growing following.
I sorta agree with you on how Americans (at least the un-informed ones) reward talentless celebrities..take the current occupants of the White House for example.

Obama announced where the money was going last month. I guess the media isn't as sycophantic as you believe...

Obama Gives Away Nobel Prize Money (March 11, 2010)
By HELENE COOPER
President Obama made good on his promise to give his $1.4 million Nobel Prize money to charity, releasing the names on Thursday of the organizations that will benefit.

“These organizations do extraordinary work in the United States and abroad helping students, veterans and countless others in need,” Mr. Obama said in a statement. “I’m proud to support their work.”

Applying the motto that charity begins at home, Mr. Obama put Fisher House, an organization that provides housing for the families of American veterans, at the top of the list, with $250,000. Fisher House was followed by the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund, the project his two immediate predecessors are running to raise money for relief and reconstruction efforts in Haiti ($200,000).

White House officials said that the money would go directly from the Nobel Committee to the recipient charities. It is to be released in the next few days. Mr. Obama promised that he would give his prize money to charity last fall, when the Nobel Committee stunned the world with its choice of Mr. Obama for the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize less than nine months into his presidency.

Republicans quickly contended that Mr. Obama won more for his star power and oratorical skills than for his actual achievements, and even some Democrats privately questioned whether he deserved it. Mr. Obama, himself, maintained that he did “not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who have been honored by this prize.”

Other charities receiving some of Mr. Obama’s prize money include the Posse Foundation, which tries to help nontraditional high school students get into college, The United Negro College Fund, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, the Appalachian Leadership and Education Foundation, the American Indian College Fund, AfriCare and the Central Asia Institute, which promotes girls’ education in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

To an Obama hater above, on March 11, the charities were announced. You can read all about it on Huffpost. Every dollar was donated to charity. SARAHPAC, on the other hand, is using their funds to pay advisers, speech writers (no, she does not write her own smarmy words) and a tiny bit to candidates. And just who has she donated any of her 12 million to this year? Haiti? No. Rebuilt a bombed school in Afghanistan? No. Supported a literacy project in Alaska? no again. She is a grifter, and that is her right, but when she stands up there pointing fingers and lying about the President, pretending to be 'just one of you,' I don't get the appeal. And I won't even start on her lack of mothering to those kids. She has barely been home since quitting her job, yet one of her reasons was to spend more time with the brood. Right.

Reasons Palin will never run for President:
1. She would have to debate fellow Republicans, who would not be nearly as nice to her as Biden was.
2. She would never find a man to be her VP (he'd have to kick Todd our of the Oval Office first), and the GOP couldn't stomach two women on the ticket.
3. She would have to live in the same house as her children for four years.
4. She couldn't make money on the side for four years.
5. She couldn't accept the pay cut.
6. She would be accountable for her words, understand policy, and she would actually have to work for a living instead of firing off one-liners a few days a week.
7. She would have to submit to interviews with newsmen who are not her co-workers, something she hasn't done since Couric.

Palin is a media star only because the media has turned her into one. In today's New York Times the conservative opinion writer David Brooks really sums her up perfectly. Paraphrasing some of the things he says about her is that she is a half-term former governor with a TV show and a conservative cartoon inflated by media.

The woman couldn't even bother to read the Nuclear Posture Review before making some idiotic statement about what she thinks it means. Is this presidential material. Not just no but hell no, you betcha!

It scares me that you seem to think you speak for some large block of the country. Here's a little hint, dearheart. You speak for yourself and no one else. Mrs. Palin is out for herself and no one else.

What Sara Palin needs to request is books, and more books. She needs to trade in that $ 100,000. she gets paid to trash everybody while she reads from her palm to answer questions she pre screened. She is an embarrashment to women. I think the media like showing her all the time to show just how stupid women is. Take time out of the Palin "watch" and write something substantial about irresponsible statements made by irresponsible "journalists".

Why does the mere presence of Sarah Palin upset the liberals so much? If she's as stupid as you say, and has nothing of substance to say, then why do the liberals get so upset and why do they try so hard to minimalize her?

I'll tell you why! Because she motivates people and tells it like she sees it. That's quite refreshing after listening to the former "mainstream" media, or worst yet, those boring liberal politicians who are aged holdovers from the 60s.

The thing the liberals fear the most is an educated, motivated majority of people who vote. That's why they get so upset about Sarah. And I bet that they'll be even more upset when their DEMOCRAT HEROS who shoved the health care bill down our throats, get voted out of office.

WE'LL REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER!

Nothing wrong with baling on your state constituency in order to make a quick buck making banal, snarky speeches and by writing petty, vindictive fictional accounts of your failed attempt at higher national office. But there is a problem with denying same and claiming that you are primarily concerned about the "common folks".

Palin doesn't want to be a serious politician -- she only wants to play one on T.V.

Palin is a good speaker and convincing liar, but she is no leader, has no ability to come up with a well thought-out idea, and cannot debate. For those who think she will run for president, remember she will have to face countless debates and direct questions. These she strictly avoids and her VP bid shows why she avoids them.

Her ability to study and learn is very limited, so speaking without any debate, like Limbaugh and other right wing radicals, may be entertainment for many, but it don't amount to a hill of beans in the political world, except to sway the weak minded, which has proven to be the only strategy the republicans have.

I am left of center, and I must try and caution my sister and brother lefties: stick to criticizing Palin for her ideas. These riders are totally standard. Remember what happened when everybody started screaming about Bill Clinton's infidelities - it was along the lines of people living in glass houses. I expect lists in the next couple of days with the Top Ten contract riders of progressive politicians and liberal movie stars and singers.

Like it or not, although a walking vessel of scary ideas, Palin is a talented personality who can inspire her followers to action. The scarier part is that nowadays Politicians are Stars, and Stars are Politicians. It's been going this way for a long time. 20 years ago, movie scripts about this kind of silliness seemed unbelievable....

Sarah Palin has had way too much exposure. I hope that her constant barrage of sarcasm is not the future of politics in this country. She is rallying the same type of crowd with a similar response that Hitler did prior to WW II. Her level of anti-intellectualism is dangerous in a country where people are now drawn to personalities rather than to facts and civil discourse.

Posted by: EarlC | April 14, 2010 10:55 PM | Report abuse

That odious cancer Palin wouldn't be a star if you all would just ignore her. If you would stop writing about her, putting her on TV and everything else you do to make her a celebrity we would not hear one more thing about or from her.

Palin is a star because you make her a star. She is a celebrity, not because she has anything resembling talent or intelligence. The simple fact is that the media has made her a star and has erected her as a spokesmaniac for other media made stars: the teabaggers. Those losers, Palin and her baggies, would simply just drop from the face of the earth is you would stop thinking about her, writing about her, pumping her up and putting her in your mouth.
Palin is an odious, brainless, ignorant, piece of brainless fluff. She deserves an ignominious public demise. IGNORE THE HATEFUL COW AND SHE'LL GO AWAY. It's just that simple.

Nancy Pelosi is a duly elected (several times) intelligent member of our Congress.

As Speaker, she stands third to the Presidency, and is entitled to the same military and Secret Service protections as the POTUS and the Vice...

You, of course, prefer to see it as a liberated female taking privilege, not an important member of our government being protected.

As for Al Gore, he is a former Vice President, entitled to all the protections, and privileges service and intellect earns.

Palin... well... she's a half term Bimbo, and those that either pay to hear her speak or show up are no brighter.

Ex-Gov. Palin's squeaking fee is not just a problem for her. It's really a problem of the "charity" status of University organizations and their use of money to promote particular political views and use of a speaking engagement to funnel money into the pocket of someone who professes to be a "politician".

The amount of money that Palin is amassing with her gravy express shows what political corruption is all about. The over-exposure of the whole Tea Party tour is nothing but plugging for Palin. The Boston Globe's collection of 71 pictures in today's issue shows that there numbers are inflated. Nowhere near one thousand turned up on the Common. Subtract the camera men, the entourage, the curious and the protesters and the crowd shrinks to a couple hundred.

It is very easy to pick on Sarah Palin. Howver, if one was to spend time between the coasts one would discover that majority of people outside the bigger cities agree with most things Sarah says.

You can't argue that she gave a rapid infusion of energy and interest to McCain's anemic campaign. While she was (and to some degree still is) rough around the polished Washington proverbial political edges, she is on point with the heartland.

Every speaker with any national speaker's bureau has preferrence lists. Whether it is how many bottles of water, bendable straws, etc...

You know, if it weren't for Tina Fey absolutely nailing her impersonation of Sarah, and doing so multiple times; if Sarah didn't have tradtional morals and espouse pro family values, I wonder if she would be so despised.

We have all heard many call her unflattering names, but I have never hear anyone attack her views. I have heard her unprepared for the global spotlight, but I have seen her be a quick learner.

Maybe what the gap in our views of Sarah represents is our lack of ability, as individuals and as a country, to differ in our opinions, our inability to debate issues and not personalities, and to be able to come to an improved understanding and to be able to agree somewhere in the middle.

It’s becoming increasingly ludicrous, the things nowadays that get a lefty’s panties in a wad.

Capehart concedes Palin’s request for two unopened bottles of water and bendy straws is reasonable. Indeed, compared to the demands of other speakers, “They are a minimum, believe me.” Not much to see here then, so what’s the problem?

Undaunted, Capehart gives her detractors a new and ingenious line of attack. When you can’t find fault with her actual behavior in present, invent and attribute to her some wicked behavior in the future and get back on the attack:

“Palin is capable of asking for a whole lot more from the people who want to hear her speak on the lecture circuit or see her on television. But don't worry. We all know she will be.”

Brilliant.

Paa asked what happened to the Nobel Prize money awarded to President Obama. Per CBS on March 11, he gave it all way:
$250,000 -- went to Fisher House, which provides housing for families of patients being cared for at major military and VA medical centers.
The Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund, which raises money for long-term relief efforts in Haiti following that country's devastating earthquake, received $200,000.
$125,000 went to six different charities:
-- College Summit, which partners with schools with the goal of increasing college enrollment;
-- The Posse Foundation, which awards scholarships to "public high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential who may be overlooked by traditional college selection processes";
-- The United Negro College Fund, which offers scholarship and internship programs for more than 60,000 students per year;
-- The Hispanic Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships and offers outreach support to the Hispanic community;
-- The Appalachian Leadership and Education Foundation, which offers scholarships and leadership curriculum to young people from Appalachia;
-- And the American Indian College Fund, which distributes scholarships to American Indian students and provides support for tribal college needs.

$100,000 each to $100,000 each to AfriCare, which offers programs in Africa addressing health and HIV/AIDS, food security and agriculture, and water resource development; and the Central Asia Institute, which promotes education and literacy in remote areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan with a focus on education girls.

That does rather answer the question, I think.

(thanks to all, for funding the GI Bill for veterans. - i could not have completed grad school had it not been for the GI Bill, two "partial scholarships" & being a "TA", as i'm far from "well to do". - the vast majority of AmerIndian families cannot afford to send their children to college, of any sort!)

a final note to "racerdoc": don't you wish that you had kept your BIG mouth shut, as every time you post your usual NONSENSE, you look like a bigger DUNCE?

racerdoc; kool_kat1960; all DIMocRATS here,

WHEN are you going to stop tolerating your "oh, so wunnerful, wunnerful" DIMocRAT party having a sitting US Senator, who is also a life-long member of the KU KLUX KLAN?

not only is Robert "KKK" Byrd a KLANSMAN, but he is also the current national "CYCLOPS".

TOLERATING a KLANSMAN, in your political party, is just as EVIL as BEING a KKK member.

DIMocRATS, thy name is HYPOCRITE!

Found in a dumpster. No verification of authenticity. This is news?

As for the woman's intelligence: she worked her way through school (no funds from Pakistan), did not hide her transcripts, graduated, worked in her chosen field, married, raised a family, worked with her husband, became a leader in local and state-wide arenas, fought corruption (and won), and outsmarted a bunch of false accusers trying to bankrupt and disrupt her administration and State. She also can hunt her own meat, w/o ordering Kobe from Japan. Or hosting lavish partied for cronies.

If Obama is so much smarter than she, he should prove it. Show us the transcripts, Barry.

Hi, I'm Sarah Palin and I am going to give my opinion on President Obama even if nobody asks me for it. All I can say about our socialist in chief is YOU BETCHA! Wait a minute. I don't think that is all I wanted to say. I had it written in the palm of my hand. Oh yeah here it is; YOU BETCHA, OBAMA IS A SPNLES COMUIST INTLETUL. Oops! Sorry I got a little nervous and some of the ink must have smeared in my sweaty palm. Can you believe the Tea Partiers pay me $100,000 to say this stuff at their rallies? I told them I would donate the money to the "conservative cause". That would be me. YOU BETCHA!

CMAN27; all,

once more you have demonstrated to every reader that you are a brain-DEAD FOOL, who is nonetheless able to type.

LAUGHING AT YOU, CHUMP.

note to all: I am NOT an admirer of Sarah Palin BUT the manin-SLIME media should be ashamed of treating ANYBODY the way that she has been treated.
(as much as i despise BHO & think that he's a LYING, amoral, FOOL, i've never said HALF the things that were LIES told about Sarah Palin.)

Wait a minute, momsaid...I have not seen Palin's transcripts from any college. And if I remember, she got away with a one page statement of "good health" from her doctor when she was scamming for VP.
As you continue to berate the duly-elected President for everything but really bother you, his skin color, I would love to know what Palin has donated from her newly made fortune? Surely she isn't sending that money offshore to some tax-free haven? Not Miss I LOVE America (or at least the parts who pay me well.)
texasnative, what lies have been told? The lies I'm seeing are that Obama investigated her in Alaska. Sorry, chum, those charges came from Alaskans who were concerned about her ethics. She did hire her high school friends into important jobs for which they were not qualified. She did shoot wolves from planes and offer a bounty for forelegs. She really WAS pregnant when she got married. She really DID fly 10 hours from your lovely "let's secede" state back to her hospital of choice after her water broke during her high risk pregnancy with Trig. She really does not care if she tells the truth; in fact, she'd rather tell a lie and get a lot of press over it. I realize that it's hard to see past those soulful eyes, but there is no soul there. She calls herself a Christian. Christians do not support war, let alone make gleeful statements about bombing another country. Christians raise their children to follow their beliefs. If that's what Palin did, and she has an out-of-wedlock grandchild and a daughter who breaks into homes, how are those values working for you? It is exactly because she speaks one way of life, yet lives another, that we distrust her.

The real problem with Palingate is the University of California was supposed to have the contract made public and not behind closed doors and shredded. She may be a star to some but that is Astroturf to me.

Sarah Palin is a disgusting manipulative woman who will say anything to make a buck.

smgess,

and you KNOW whether ANY of the accusations that you made, in your post above, are CORRECT of your OWN KNOWLEDGE, or are you engaging in "common gossip",parroting PROPAGANDA from the DIMocRAT National Committee or "just making it all up, as you go along"?

the TRUTH is that 90+% of what "everyone knows" about Sarah Palin falls into the category of FICTION!
(for example, she NEVER said that "I can see Russia from my house." - that "bit of silliness" was by Tina Fey BUT it was reported as a "direct Palin quote" by several "new outlets".
those "outlets" are NOT stupid or ignorant.- instead, they knowingly LIED & a goodly percentage of people are naive/ignorant/uneducated enough to believe ANYTHING that they hear on TV "news"!
(TV is not called "the boob tube" for nothing! - i maintain that you lose a million perfectly good brain cells, each time that you watch an hour of "network TV".)

just my opinion.

yours, TN46
