Obama: send Biden to Beck

The White House must break the near-crippling cycle of fear it seems to be caught in with FOX News. Sure, some Obama administration officials have slammed it as not really being a news organization that shouldn’t be taken seriously as such. But the folks running the Free World from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue quake at the mere hint that someone from the “We report, you decide” crowd on Manhattan’s Sixth Avenue is going to shank them. So here’s what they need to do to try to liberate themselves: send Vice President Biden to Glenn Beck.

Before y’all lose your minds thinking that I’ve lost mine, hear me out.

The Shirley Sherrod saga has many shaking their heads and wondering aloud, “Why on earth is the Obama administration allowing itself to be spooked by the likes of FOX News?!” Remember, one of the reasons Sherrod had to pull off to the side of the road and resign from her Department of Agriculture job via Blackberry was because “you're going to be on 'Glenn Beck' tonight."

Now, let’s be honest. The people watching Glenn Beck are probably unreachable. After all, at the height of the last racial conflagration, the man they’re watching said that President Obama has "a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture." Nevermind the fact he’s biracial, was raised by his white grandparents and particularly revered his white grandmother, Madelyn Dunham. So it’s not a stretch to suspect that the Beck audience is probably more predisposed to being suspicious of Obama and anything he says and his administration does.

But if there’s one sure-fire way to earn the respect (grudging thought it might be) of the opposition, it is to show up. Go into the lion’s den. Take your lumps. And give as good as you get. It’s the equivalent of a white Republican politician who goes to a black church during campaign season. He or she might not score a single vote, but the candidate would have earned the congregation’s respect. Of course, it all depends on the messenger. In the case of Obama versus FOX, the perfect messenger is Biden.

To those of you who might say that having the vice president do this would elevate Beck’s stature, wake up. The guy already has the stature. As Howard Kurtz pointed out last week, “Sherrod may be the only official ever dismissed because of the fear that Fox host Glenn Beck might go after her.”

And, no, this would not make Obama look weak. Obama is one of the most grounded, self-aware chief executives to sit in the Oval Office. He knows he doesn’t exactly connect with people in the way he needs to win support for his agenda and calm a restive electorate. Biden connects every time he opens his mouth, with or without his foot. Besides, Biden is already Obama’s unofficial ambassador to middle-class, independent and white voters. During the campaign, Obama had trouble with the latter group in the primary battles with then-Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. They came around to help put him in the White House. Yet poll after poll show that they’ve been fleeing him.

Sending Biden to Beck would do something else. Even if the FOX News viewer couldn’t care less what Biden says, the news generated by the event would reach those white and independent voters who appear to be losing faith with the president. It would give the administration a chance take on the lies and misinformation directly. For the Democratic Party faithful, it just might show them that the administration has a backbone and is willing to take it to “the enemy.” As Sam Donaldson said on “This Week” yesterday, Obama shouldn’t be afraid of a fight with FOX. He quoted President Franklin Roosevelt’s speech where he said his enemies “are unanimous in their hate for me, and I welcome their hatred” and asked people to judge him by the enemies he made. And then Donaldson issued a challenge I agree with wholeheartedly. “So, President Obama, don’t be afraid of them,” he said. “Take them on, and let the people judge. You may lose, but if you lose, you will lose grandly.”

Hear! Hear!

Why only the Vice President? Why not the President of the United States?

After all, President Obama will be appearing on The View this Thursday. Maybe next week, he can be a guest judge on American Idol. Any wonder why Americans lost respect for the office of the President? The President has no respect for the office.

Boutique media is adding spice to this nation's partisan divide. 'You have your media, I have mine.'

Too many people stop thinking and simply marinate themselves in their favored ideology.

Biden on Beck? Whatever. Wouldn't matter, and wouldn't affect anyone. Would lefties be more reflective if a prominent conservative went on Maddow or Matthews? Come on.

Neither one of them should go. Glenn Beck is so over the top stupid there is obviously no reaching him. I mean, once the guy complained about Michelle Obamas dress. Huh? Are you serious? Glenn Beck is a liar, entertainer and a clown. Why would the President even look at him? The Presidents dog going on the show would even be too much. Glenn Beck even questioned the Presidents daughters intelligence. Imagine that - this grown man questioning the intelligence of a child. Imagine what it must be like being his kid. Egad.

Glenn Beck is a loser on a loser network.

“Why on earth is the Obama administration allowing itself to be spooked by the likes of FOX News?!

FYI fox hadn't aired anything on Sherrod before she was fired.

Do some research...

"Now, let’s be honest. The people watching Glenn Beck are probably unreachable." Have you ever even watched Glenn Beck?

How did you ever get a job?

Why does this reporter need to not once but 4 times speak of the white voters. The white independent voters. Biden connects every time he opens his mouth, with or without his foot. Besides, Biden is already Obama’s unofficial ambassador to middle-class, independent and white voters.

What does that mean a black man can not reach white voters only a white ambassador can, you should tame down your (not so hidden prejudice) as a reporter it's offecsive to read.

Why does the left need to stretch to their race card every time they mention this network? Did you not see that the president has made comments much like yourself "I know how these white executives think..." in Ref to the BP case? If that is not blatant profiling by the left what is?

Definition please: Racialism is a related term, sometimes intended to avoid these negative meanings. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, racism is a belief or ideology that all members of each racial group possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially to distinguish it as being either superior or inferior to another racial group or racial groups. The Merriam-Webster's Dictionary defines racism as a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular racial group, and that it is also the prejudice based on such a belief.

Capehart manages to be bigoted, condescending and stupid in just a few paragraphs.

If the Obama administration would like to reach Fox viewers which include a lot of "middle-class, independent and white voters", it's easy: stop expanding government, cut regulations, reduce federal spending, stop demonizing the private sector, seriously reform the Health Care Reform Bill before it cripples the U.S., and get the government out of micro-managing people's lives.

For the 10,000th time Jonathan - IT'S NOT ABOUT RACE, IT'S ABOUT POLICIES AND JUDGEMENT. Obama's policies are wrong, and his judgement is poor.

Posted by: pilsener | July 26, 2010 11:40 AM | Report abuse

My biggest problem with Obama is that he cares too much what the Republicants and loonitarians think. He needs to realize that they're going to hate him no matter what he says or does.

Once Obama figures this out, maybe he can become a full-strength Democrat again. That's what our country needs. Really.

Posted by: roblimo | July 26, 2010 11:43 AM | Report abuse

Typical liberal media drivel. The best thing for the Obama Administration to do is to stop lying to the public, stop being driven by ideologues, and stop pushing its socialistic agenda, which is destroying business in America. (As Margaret Thatcher said, socialism works as long as socialist can spend other people's money. In the U.S., we will soon be out of "other people's money.") Sending Biden to Beck is as silly as this article.
When will the Post go back to being an actual source of news and intelligent analysis?

"Obama is one of the most grounded, self-aware chief executives to sit in the Oval Office." -Jonathan Capehart

Compared to which former presidents? Is this the same guy who proclaimed his nomination "was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal"? Of his 43 predecessors, who among them has said anything as aloof as that? This guy has only managed to accomplish things that require congress to take the lead. Gitmo is still open. Iran still has their nuke program. We're still fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. People who are self-aware do not promise the moon and the stars, only to accomplish nothing except for what a super-majority can place on his desk to sign.

There's one big problem with V.P. Biden appearing on the Beckster's show, and that is, that they'd first have to accept the offer. As it would be a sanity break, albeit a temporary one, from the non-stop Beckian propaganda and conspiracy spinning, any offer from the V.P.'s office would be met with the sounds of crickets chirping.

The reason Obama's losing ground with independents is that after the Republican extremism of the Bush years, a lot of people were looking for moderation, but what they got was extremism from the other side. Independents are caught in a tug-of-war between the two parties, wondering when common sense will prevail. Sending Biden to Fox News won't fix that. It will just be another reminder that partisan ideology rules the nation.

Mr. Capeheart,

You and Obama are two peas in a pod. You make racial categorizations and then play the race card indignantly when others do. Grow up. Obama referred to his grandmother as a typical white person. He is rude and condescending to different socio-economic groups, certain professions, industries and those who have more money than others. He is an absolute disaster as a leader, a creepy grievance monger who creates as many divisions among the American people as he can. And he does it because youand your colleagues continue to allow him to get away with it. But guess what? We are on to you and we are having none of it. Go peddle your lies somewhere else. Most of us read the WaPo so as to have a bad example of how the media has committed malfeasance with this immature know nothing who sits in the White House.

Why does Obama need to send Biden as an "ambassador" to white America? Whites make up 65% (the clear majority) of Americans. They ARE the mainstream, not some primitive tribe or foreign country.

It shows how far out of the mainstream the Obama Administration really is, if they need to send an "ambassador" to the majority of Americans.

The author has a valid argument here. I think President Obama and his political allies truly believe their approach to problem solving, debt creation via spending and increases in taxation are what is good for the country. I think a debate featuring Glenn Beck with Vice President Biden would be a wonderful thing! I also don't understand President Obama's recent comments about "politics being treated as entertainment" as not being good, yet he will go on "The View". Isn't "The View" entertainment?

you just dont get it ,do you. glenn beck is feared by the administration because he catches them in there own words. and unlike brightbert he makes sure he has the context nailed down.he didnt run the Shirley Sherrod saga till he had the full story and then TOOK HER SIDE on it. send obama to glenn beck for 3 hours with no rules, no scripted questions and no teleprompter and see how long he last. the reasion he is losing popularity is because from the public view he isnt able to function on his own when it counts. a crisis happeneds and he panics. i remember as a boy ronald regan during iran contra saying if it happened under his watch he would take the blame for what happened under his administration and he did. bill clinton did the same for his own actions. and the country grew to love both those presedents. why cant obama do the same? the human connection in the office he holds is nessisary for him to win. first thing he needs to do is fire his press secritary. im sorry but the voice of the office comes off as mean and vindictive . personalize with the average american. lead by example. your the leader of the democratic party clean your own house. a tax cheat should not lead the tresury, a guy who doesent pay all his taxes shouldent be leading the house ways and means commitiee. replace charlie rangle with john lewis and see how glenn beck responds. bring up term limits for congress put comprehensive immigration reform on the table and say you wont sign a thing till it passes with at least half the congressional republicans signed on. if that means nothing gets done nothing gets done. but at least you will have taken a chance and stood for something.

In the first place, Beck can be taken down by Obama's allies, but he chooses not to. That's his problem. Second, Biden is hardly a silver-tongued Devil, so the blabbering Beck wouldn't be bothered by Biden. I'm sure Capehart is thinking about when Gore debated Perot. Sorry, but this wouldn't have the same effect as Beck's audience is all kneejerkers.

Great idea...Beck would, no doubt, fluster Biden to the point of him saying something dumb. (again)

Say what you want about Beck, but Biden is hardly a MENSA member.

That being said, it's much easier for this administration, and it's allies in the lick-spittle media, to dismiss Fox as not being a real "news organization", than it would be to go in there and actually answer some tough questions.

So don't count on it ever happening.

You gotta be brainwashed to think that is a news organization.

Mr. Capehart

The Sherrod story was not the first time Breitbart managed to puff a nothing into breathless accusations and get the media all adither over it.

What you should have written about is that Breitbart will headline with Michael Steel, head of the RNC, at a republican convention.

He ought to be in disgrace. NO ONE ought to be using him to raise money. But so long as the RNC panders to his ilk, we know they are as racist as he is.

Capeheart, get a life. Biden is likeable but a total doofus. Liberal pundits said he would destroy Palin in a debate. She not only held her own with him, by most accounts she came out on top. Since you and your cohorts believe Palin is clueless, what does that make Biden? Glenn Beck, however bizzare, has more knowledge of history and more street smarts than Obama and Biden combined. He would destroy Biden in a no holds barred debate. What a clown running around the country bragging about the jobs the stimulus created.

Yeah, more cowbell, thats the ticket!

Isn't there enough stupid garbage passing for political discussion on TV without asking that the Administration help produce more of it? Beck may have his own ghetto, but there is no need for Obama's people to help him expand it.

On the other hand, Obama should have a Clinton-style instant reaction team that attacks Faux Noise eruptions as soon as they spew. Donna Brazile at CNN showed how effective that can be in the Sharrod case.

Capehart, why would a God-fearing Black congregation support the main planks of the Democratic party? Abortion and gay marriage are the litmus test--and are decidedly anti-Biblical.

What's up with that?

As usual, the leftist media just doesn't get it.

Neither Beck nor FOX News hate or disrespect Obama .. FOX has aired several interviews with Obama and treated him just as if he were the real president.

Most of the people on the right side of the political spectrum, including Beck, have a problem with Obama based on his ideology.

The left - including you - apparently can't respond to criticism on the facts, so using Alinsky methodology, you guys seek to deflect the discussion by screaming out the overused charge of "racism". Well, once we hear that we know we've got you.

Send Biden to Beck ... that would probably be the funniest show on TV. Biden's mouth seems to work with or without a brain behind it, and there's no way he could out debate Beck ON THE FACTS!

And don't forget, January, 2007 when Biden called Obama the first "clean" African-American candidate ... who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,"

Remember Joe saying:
" "In Delaware, the largest portion of the population is Indian-Americans," said Biden. 'You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.... I'm not joking.'"

Biden to Beck ... Bring it on!

Two things come to mind. First, Obama has far more enemies than friends.By the time 2012 arrives he'll be landslided in the election. Two, Biden would go on Beck, sit there smirking and tell people the Obama Porkulus Package created 3 million jobs or any number of equally intelligence insulting claims.

Capehart; You are truly brilliant. I suggest that when you sit down with the President this week during your confidential lunch that you bring this subject up. I hope he is listening to you. The President is not getting through to Fox viewers and he needs to reach them to be reelected. What could be more helpful than sending his most eloquent supporter and side kick to answer questions raised by Beck. I look forward to seeing the Vice President working over Beck.

It is not a question of skin color but Obama doesn't have the intellectual capabilities to compete with Beck.

That is why Obama is appearing on The View. His pseudointellectual abilities will be showcased there.

And make up your mind - is Obama the first black president or is he biracial? He isn't AfroAmerican because that implies coming from slave ancestry.

And since his father was a muslim Kenyan Barak is not that. So stop trying to play the race card inaccurately and however it fits at the time.

Hazmat77,

How do you measure success? By what Bill O tells you?

Who is going to beat Obama? Newt? Palin? Steele? Paul Ryan? Romney? Count them all out. Romney is the only one who has a chance but by the time 2012 comes around the economy is going to be roaring, Obama is going to work out all the kinks in his administration and his message is going to be even more potent.

The Right has absolutely no ideas because they only cater to the rich. How long can they count on the poor stupid Republicans to vote against their own wallets in the name of white purity? I mean the worst has already happened, they have a black President and eventually, they will realize how stupid their hate is and the country will be allowed to get on with the good business.

Jillbo, the only reason why jobs created or saved numbers insult your intelligence is because you're stupid. Here is how you calculate a job saved, idiot: If you have a city who is running in the RED and they have no money for next years teachers or police salaries and then they get $400,000,000 from Biden through the Stimulus bill, then that money goes to salaries that is a job saved. Get it? They didn't have the money to support salaries for the following year and now they do. Those jobs which would have been lost due to the local budget deficit is now SAVED.

Here is how you calculate jobs created. If the government sets aside, through the Stimulus Bill, $4,000,000,000 for Small Business and $1,000,000,000 of that is specifically for START-UPS, than every job that is created through that start up is a job CREATED!

Wow, how simple was that?

to Mr Capehart; all,

PLEASE send "Poor Joe" Biden to Glenn Beck's show. = doing that will PERMANENTLY sink the DIMocRATS forever, as "Poor Joe" is, in just two words, PITIFULLY STUPID.

"Poor Joe" got his nickname (well-known "on The Hill") from the other Senators, including the other DIMocRAT Senators, saying: "Poor Joe" is so STUPID & clue-LESS that you can pee on his feet & convince him that it's rain.
(remember it was "Poor Joe" who said in TWO cities in 2008 that "J-O-B-S, JOBS" was a THREE LETTER word & was just "looked confused" when the audience laughed louder/longer after his second use of that SILLINESS.- anyone can "miss-speak" when under the pressure of campaigning but "Poor Joe" thought that he had said something quite clever & "re-used the line" in another speech, 4 states away.)

IF "Poor Joe" went onto Beck's TV show, people would flock to watch that display of foolishness, stupidity & arrogant ignorance of the FACTS for the same reason that multitudes of people stop to watch a train-wreck.
(i knew that BHO was a DUNCE when he picked "Poor Joe" as his running-mate.- sadly, i have been proven correct as the USA is stuck with TWO fools for two more years, at a time when we desperately need a strong/fearless/canny LEADER in the WH.)

note: obviously, the DIMocRATS picked the wrong Obama, as Michelle has THE BRAINS in that family; BHO has only THE MOUTH.

20JAN13 cannot come soon enough to suit me.

Jonathan - the liberal socialist bias of your comments is concerning to me. It sounds like you are rooting for one side to win by giving such advice. It makes me wonder given your world view, why are you assigned to write for a POST PARTISAN blog unless those words are really the washingtonPost Parisan (as in leftist) blog. You are too partisan to be thoughtful.

Secondly, Joe Biden is about the worst person you can think of to represent the President. The guy is clueless and a goofball. Do you really think he is a good representative for this task. Why not send the President himself since his administration continues to trip on the race card they throw. Now that would be interesting, President Obama in front of 2.5 million viewers actually addressing the concerns of the conservatives of the country.

Now that would be something.

Obama and his Chicago cronies are afraid of Fox news and Beck because they tell the truth. Obama's mother was a communist. He did sit in Reverend Wrights church which is racist and anti-American for 20 years. Journo List liberal media did conspire to quash the story by calling the right "racists" in order to get Obama elected. He did come to the conclusion that the police "acted stupidly" before he had any facts, he did hire Van Jones a communist, who had to resign. He did call his grandmother a "white woman". He did work closely with ACORN and SEIU and still favors the Unions. He did fire Sherrod without due process before a word about her was said on Fox. Glenn Beck DEFENDED HER. He has been the most divisive POTUS ever, and the leftist controlled media play the race card instead of discussing the real issues. It seems not only the White House is afraid of Fox news, but also the leftist media is afraid.

Read Jim Webb's essay on diversity again. Maybe you'll get it the next time around. It is doubtful anyone in Obama's inner circle is in touch with working class people. Mrs. Sherrod is, which is why she was such an unknown to the White House. And Beck? He is more than the Washington Post or any "progressive" is willing to concede.

"Jillbo, the only reason why jobs created or saved numbers insult your intelligence is because you're stupid...."
==========================================
This pretty much sums up the attitude progressives/liberals have about anyone who does not share their left brain thinking. These insults continue from the left while they scream that conservatives are run on a platform of hatred. Interesting.

This issue is and has never been about Fox News or conservatives in general. The entire episode is a result of the administration's forced sensitivity regarding race -- specifically, dropping criminal charges against a very public racist organization, The New Black Panthers.

It's time for liberals to acknowledge that the race issue is a result of their campaign to use the racial issue as a political tool. It has divided the country and appears to be backfiring (especially since the revelation that liberal news members of Journolist agreed to use the sensitive race issue started during Obama's presidential campaign and have continued to be use it when anyone criticizes Obama's policies).

that i don't particuliarly want the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES to be completely HUMILIATED, "BROUGHT DOWN" & EXPOSED as the SELF-impressed, MEAN-spirited, weak, feckless, arrogant, FOOL that he demonstrably is, before the whole world on satellite TV by any TV talk-show host.===> on his best day, BHO cannot "stand toe-to-toe" with ANY "tough questioner"; BHO is simply incompetent.
(we Americans are, after all, stuck with BHO as POTUS until 20JAN13.)

just my opinion.

Only those who fear the truth, fear those who tell it. If no one has made that statement, they should have, especially about this President. I don't not agree with Glenn Beck on many issues, but one thing that he has going for him is his straight forward "Questioning" of things in Washington. Obama's political appointments, motives, manipulation of the Constitution, lack of response on important issues, and his general Laisez Faire attitude toward traditional values and policies that made his presidency possible make him fair game. Beck asks a lot of questions and apparently Obama and his minions don't like to answer the questions that he asks. I think his hotline to the White House is a hoot and as long as the WH refuses to call him, they continue to lend credence to his arguments.
By the way! Obama does not like to be challenged or questioned on the issues, prefering to turn them into political ploys to garner favor with his dwindling base. It also appears that he has a genuine dislike of things that are largely white "Republican" American. Based on his inane responses to the Cambridge Police incident, SB1070, the Gulf crisis, the New Black Panther videos, his appointment of Van Jones (One for Beck) and his jumping the gun on Shirley Sherrod (For any who actually believe that he wasn't involved in the firing of this woman, I have beach-front property in Arizona for sale) he has shown either an inability or contempt for getting all of the facts before drawing conclusions. By constantly stirring the cauldron of racism, and through mis-information and half-truths, Obama is the one fomenting racial tension in this country, not Beck or the Conservatives. If he ever decides to leave the campaign trail, maybe he will understand that as President, his job is to serve the interests of all of America's citizens, not just the ones that supported him in 2008.

I love the line: Biden's appearance would allow the administration to "take on the lies and misinformation directly." What lies? Your problem is that Fox does report the news fairly...all of it...unlike main stream media and for this administration that is a real negative.

No one has ever lied to the public to the extent that Obama has....and unfortunately for this administration Beck reveals those lies...that's why people like you have to come up with these attacks of racism....Distraction from the truth is your only recourse...and that means yell "racism".

It is time for these idiot writers to wake up and get a life...the lion needed courage, the tin man needed a heart, and the scarecrow needed a brain, but this isn't the land of Oz. This is reality. Fox News is the leading news cable network out performing all the others combined. You may wish to categorize their anchors as being performers, but millions tune in to listen to their opinions. I challenger this dummy writer to compare their group with any competing news outlet that is currently on the air. The Fox lineups are journalists, commentators, writers, the whole meghilla. I don't even want to embarrass all you sickos out their by bringing in the radio guys but millions listen to them daily. By the way, whatever happened to Air America...oh, their "statesman" became a Senator from MN, when they used the votes of dead people to push him over the top. Funny after an initial burst of publicity he crawled back under his rock. Ugh! They can scream all they wish about those bad whitey's who tune into Fox, but you can't brush them aside because you believe you are far superior to the great "unwashed" who tune in. There are many reasons I am appalled by idiots who write this junk as they continue to denigrate everything that is written that doesn't conform to their warped thinking. Come November we will kick out all those anti-Americans who are currently in power. Listen idiot, he maybe by definition half and half, but he is an out and out black person who thinks and acts black. If he could get away with it he would open the safes of all the banks in those run down neighborhoods inviting all his people to help themselves to fistfuls of money for every trip made. Though it is a frightening thought can you just visualize all the people who would be pushed aside by the baton wielding thugs who want to get on the line first again? It can happen. Yeh, send in the clown Biden, by all means.

desertbells; all,

fwiw, BHO on 07/27/10 doesn't have 2/3 of "his base", who elected him in 2008, intact.

a few notes on "his former supporters":
1. his LEFTISTS/lunatics/extremists of "moveon.org", "Code Pink-O", the A.N.S.W.E.R. coalition & other similar " leftist fringe groups" think that BHO's too far to the RIGHT,
2. the "peaceniks" are ANGRY that he's NOT removed all our troops from 2 war-zones & has not closed Guantanamo Detention Center,
3. MANY "yellow-dog democrats" feel BETRAYED by the passing of "Obamacare",
(my family has NUMEROUS former "democrat party regulars", mostly OCAWU & "craft guild"/union members, who have DESERTED the DIMocRATS. - they will NOT return.= sorry DIMocRAT EXTREMISTS, the union/democrat members of our family are GONE FOREVER.)
4. "the border-staters" DESPISE the DIMocRATS "leadership" because the DIMs continue to support "open borders", "amnesty for undocumented workers" & ILLEGAL ALIENS,
(to any "media-types, who may be reading this: don't try to "confuse the issue" by talking about "immigrants"!= we support our NEW CITIZENS & LAWFUL IMMIGRANTS 100% but understand that the "media's clouding of the issues" is LYING and we voters are NOT deceived.)
5. we "seniors" will NOT vote DIMocRAT again because we fear (correctly) that "Obamacare" will BANKRUPT Medicare
and
6. the "independent-thinking MODERATES" are leaving the "jackass party" in droves for the TEA PARTY, as we believe that BHO's/DIMocRATS' "ideas" are completely COUNTER to our "informed self-interest" as CITIZENS.

at this juncture, the DIMocRATS & BHO couldn't win "dogcatcher" in 2010/2012/beyond. - they are THROUGH as a "major party"!

just my opinions.

“We Support Shirley Sherrod”, on Facebook. Please join this grassroots effort. We stand in support of Shirley Sherrod for her courage, dignity and sophistication in standing up to an unjust firing and attack on her character and for her dedication to teaching all Americans to look to beyond prejudice to embrace our commonalities and the plight of the poor in our society.

please send biden to fox. that would assure a conservative victory in 12. Hell, send anyone on Beck. Hes the only one that has the guts to ask questions that they don't want to answer. Spooky how his conspiracy theories turn out close to the truth. I'd like to hear the answer to how many socialists and ex terrorists now have a hand in law making. and if that's not true then go on and prove him wrong! if he's wrong it should be very easy to disprove and you do it on his show.
