Carl Paladino is a little too mad as hell

Carl Paladino, the Tea Party-backed Republican candidate for governor of New York, is giving voters in that state plenty of reasons not to vote for him. Sure, he's channeling the rage folks feel about the epic dysfunction in Albany and the problems that officials in Washington can't/won't solve. But the dude's seeming unhinged anger is becoming downright scary.

Andrea Peyser, the New York Post columnist who is hardly a shrinking violet, writes today about seeing Mount Paladino explode up-close and personal. Warning: F-bombs galore. But if that's not enough, you can see Paladino threaten New York Post columnist Fred Dicker when the dean of the political press corps rather aggressively demands that the candidate back up allegations that his opponent, New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, had extramarital affairs. You might recall that Paladino cheated on his wife (they're still together) and had a daughter with the woman with whom he had the affair.

Paladino was mad as hell over the New York Post running a picture on Sunday of his former mistress. "You send another goon to my daughter's house, and I'll take you out, buddy" Paladino warned yesterday. When Dicker asks, "How are you going to do that?" The wanna-be governor says, "Watch!"

Wow. The Empire State shouldn't have to put up with that for four years.

OMG - this is just too rich! I might understand if Czar Palladino had threatened a reporter from the Times, but the Post?! Hysterical. And no one takes seriously the allegations he made about Little Cuomo stepping out on his ex-Kennedy when they were still trying to breed a New Democratic Race. She was the one who did all the stepping out. Frankly, I was shocked when I learned he'd been dating Ms. Semi-Homemade, Sandra Lee. He comes across as remarkably non-sexual. In fact, I always equated his marriage to Kerry Kennedy with Michael Jackson's to Lisa Marie Presley.

Mr Capehart,

IF the "reporter" had said about my daughter what he said about Mr Palliadino's, he would be visiting the ER. - i thought "kids" were "off limits", especially when it's "R" or "X" rated?

oh, i understand now. = only DIMocRATS politicians kids are "untouchable"! = imVho, ALL DIMs are HYPOCRITES & LOSERS.

btw, get your crying towel out = the latest independent polls indicate about 75 HoR turnovers to the GOP & 12 Senate seats. it won't even be close. = BHO becomes IRRELEVANT & a LAME DUCK starting 11/03/10.

btw, don't you wish that BHO & the DIMocRATS hadn't passed "obamacare" against the wishes of 75% of the voters? = that was, in just 2 words, TERMINALLY STUPID.

Paladino is certainly not your typical blow-dried say nothing politician. He may even be a blow-hard. However, New Yorkers are outraged at the way Albany politicians of both parties have destroyed the Empire State. Cuomo represents the professional political class that average voters have had their fill of. Jonathan, you say that the "Empire State shouldn't have to put up with that for four years." What do you think they have been putting upwith over the last four years?

The author of this article is wrong. This is exactly what New York and the USA needs. A problem occurred when Mr. Palladino's daughter was brought into the conversation. That is how you solve the problem by taken ACTION! No funny slogans, feel good words or politically correct statements. Words do not work when someone participating in the dialogue is making a nonrational statement. A bloody nose seems more appropriate to me!

Tea Party = Nut Job

First of all, let us discount cranks who speak of "DIMocRATS" and sprinkle their replies with typed shouting (e.g., caps). Secondly, it isn't logical to argue that somebody unacceptable should be replaced with someone else who is unacceptable, especially when cooperation w/ the legislature is necessary to effect change.

What we need is for voters to recognize that we are, collectively as citizens, spending too much money. Let us all agree to smaller government and then make the necessary sacrifices to accomplish it.

Americans aren't prepared to do that, so far. They think manifest destiny and God's grace precludes them giving up services and protections that will just have to go.

That is unrealistic.

Let Paladino keep mouthing off. He'll soon have his "macaca moment."

Just wondering where those Italian-American organizations or former or current elected officials who were rightly offended by the stereotypes portrayed in the reality show Jersey Shore as well as some of the characters in the Sopranos when it comes to the oafish behavior of the Republican nominee for NYS governor. Just look at previous Italian-Americans who have been elected have any been embarrassing? Well OK Al D’Amato had his bouts of loutishness.

TODAY:
"Tea Party = Nut Job"

NOVEMBER 3:
"Tea Party = Winners"

All you Progressives have 34 days of denial left. Enjoy them while you can.

It is the non-abrasive, hand-puppet behavior, politically correct statements, feel good words, double talk, non-leadership quality and the subtle and quiet demeanor of the politicians in office today that has set the standards for todays fiscal policy, efficiently run programs, controlled spending and the standard of living in New York in which we are now experiencing. I am looking forward to more of the same when Mr Paladino does not get elected into the governors seat in Albany.

Do you think anyone would really care if Palladino kicked the crap out of "the dean of the political press corps" (or press corpse as out genius president likes to say). Oh Buffy, would you ring the bell and have Miss Bessy bring me some Grey Poupon? Capehart, its effite snobs like you we cant stand.

All I can say is thank goodness Charlie Manson didn't run for the Tea Party in California.

I'd like to see someone go after Obama's daughters and see how calmly he reacts.

Does Capehart have kids or younger family members? I'd like to see some nutcase go after them and see how calmly he reacts.

If you are a moderate or a progressive and have been reading comments on this and other venues (Yahoo is a good example) don't you feel the hatred, the threats? You have only 2 choices in the next 2 years - fight or flight. Either you will sit back and let the extreme right wing prey on the ecomonic downturn to excite the uninformed masses to vote them in or you will fight it. If you do not fight it, plan on fleeing your country once they take over, just like Thomas Mann and Albert Einstein did. Get it?

Quit saying that this reporter went after Paladino's daughter. The NY Post sent someone to take his daughter's picture, not this reporter. There was no threat to Paladino's daughter. It was just Paladino doing what he does best, bullying.

I recall that when Joe Wilson contradicted Bush/Cheney's nuclear claims, they went after his wife. (anticipating he usual nonsense comments: where Wilson;s wife worked had absolutely nothing to do with the validity of his statements).

johncs99 @ September 30, 2010 2:15 PM: I learnt long ago to ignore the posts of some folks. TN46 is one of them. For one thing, the punctuation used renders the posts unreadable.

wmwilliams; all,

btw, don't you think that taking a picture of a 10YO child in her own bedroom is "crossing the line" on what at least used to be called: COMMON DECENCY?

oh, i forgot!- COMMON DECENCY isn't in the vocabulary of "the main-SLIME press" or that of the LEFTISTS/DIMocRATS.

as i said earlier, "the reporter" had better be glad that it wasn't one of my daughters!

personal to "johncs99": i type to suit me & nobody else. further, it has been my long experience that people who complain/whine/carp about SILLY things like "typing style" feel "INFERIOR" & saying something/anything makes them feel "REALLY BIG". ===> LAUGHING AT YOU,DUNCE.

pmendez @ September 30, 2010 4:22 PM: You can be both a winner AND a 'nut job'. I will give you an example: the Prohibitionists were winners for a while. They still blessed us with organized crime!

Isn't half of this story - did Cuomo have 3 or 4 affairs while he was married to Kennedy?

Right now the outrage seems very one sided.

Lets hear from Cuomo.

Sorry mlemac and other teabag wackadoos, but nutboy Paladino has admitted he has NO evidence to back up his allegations.

Keep defending these creeps!

Observer691,

DOCUMENTED SOURCE from an independent/trusted person please. - i've seen NOTHING that would back up your allegation.

in any case, the DIMocRATS are about to be the victim of modern history's biggest BLOODBATH in about one month & there is NOTHING that any DIMocRAT can do to avert it. = the DIMs are FINISHED/DONE/KAPUT on 11/02/10, as MOST "regular folks, outside the beltway" no longer trust the DIMs with our LIBERTY!
(passing "obamacare", against the wishes of 70+% of voters, was REALLY STUPID & was "the blow that killed father"!)

observer691; ALL,

the reason that "observer" hasn't posted a DOCUMENTED source is that he/she (likely KNOWINGLY) lied to all of us readers
OR perhaps,
he/she believed the KNOWING LIES propounded by the DNC & the other LIARS on the left.

face it, "observer", it's one or the other: either you LIED
or
you were "played for a fool" by a LIAR.
