Her Heart Will Go On ... In 269 Days

Celine Dion - Chrysler pitchwoman, Diva Las Vegas and Canadian singer of Hillary's POTUS campaign theme - has just announced a D.C. date for her upcoming world tour: Monday, Sept. 8, 2008, at Verizon Center. So sweet of her to help us all plan ahead, no? Tickets are going on sale Monday - never mind, apparently, that the show is 10 months out. We at Post Rock would like to point out that someone who isn't pregnant right now could buy tickets and not be able to go to the concert come September because of a new baby. So, get busy tonight folks.

Wow, then what I heard on the radio this morning was correct...Who plans that far in advance? Yikes. Doesn't matter, I can't stand her anyway.

Far better than knowing, say, a month ahead of time *cough* Stevie Wonder.

That a post about Celine Dion would come immediately after so many really cool Springsteen-related posts is very disheartening.

If anyone needs a few moments of deep laughter, search The Onion web site for Celine Dion stories. They're all so true.
