PR Pitches We Never Finished Reading: Vol. 2, No. 2

The FADER Names Chris Richards Executive Editor

New York, NY: The FADER, the definitive voice of emerging music, has announced that Chris Richards has been named Executive Editor. FADER publisher Andy Cohn made the announcement. Richards' arrival at The FADER comes after a six-year run at the Washington Post...

Nah, just kidding. I actually did finish reading this much-anticipated release, and I was absolutely thrilled - even if it means that Chris won't be doing the Singles File column for TWP anymore, or writing controversial Bob Dylan reviews for us, or asking us to publish his love letters to R. Kelly.

You'll be missed, Chris. (Except on deadline! Hahaha.)

You can wish him farewell and harass him one final time about his Windham Hill fixation this Wednesday at 1, when he hosts a Live Online chat on This Very Web Site.

So, like, where are the veggie burrito carts in NYC?

Dear Chris Richards, when you are back in DC, know you have a standing invite to have veggie burritos with me and discuss my unironic love of the Ignition remix.
