Uh-Oh Maybelline

Chuck Berry, road runner.

Note to Maryland State Police:

If you see an old rock-legend-looking dude in a Cadillac a-rollin' on the open road - and doing so at very high speeds - please just let him go.

Or else Seth Hurwitz will be angry -- and more than a few rock fans will be bereft.

Read details here.

(Summarized: "Rock and roll legend Chuck Berry has failed to turn up for two sell-out concerts in Spain apparently because he was sulking after ... an argument with his daughter. 'They apparently rowed because she did not allow him to drive as fast as he would have liked on the British roads,' reported El Pais newspaper.")

Berry, of course, is scheduled to perform at Virgin Mobile Festival on Aug. 9 at Pimlico.

He's still alive and touring? Man. Rock and Roll is still a fairly young art form, isn't it?
