Virgin Festival Schedule Released
Virgin Mobile Festival is less than two weeks away and now we have a schedule, which you can find below. A few very quick observations:
-- Bob Dylan is indeed going on right before Kanye. Sweet.
-- Every band gets at least 45 minutes. (Except, mercifully, Hollywood Undead.)
-- Security looking for underage drinkers will want to be hanging out near the North Stage between 2:15 and 4:20 p.m. on Sunday.
-- Security looking to break up some violent mosh pits will want to be hanging out near the North Stage from 4:50 p.m. through the end of the evening on Sunday.
-- Main conflicts at first glance seem to be the end of each day: Foo Fighters vs. Underworld and Nine Inch Nails vs. Kanye.

Aren't the Silver Beats a Japanese Beatles tribute band? Backing Chuck Berry?

@Randolph: They sure are. Pretty inspired idea, actually.

I'd consider going Saturday for Underworld alone. And as far as the "match-up," the Foos are great and all, but they tour all the time... and especially with Dave's local roots, you'll have other shots to catch them if you haven't done so already.
To the contrary, Underworld... don't come to Washington all that frequently, and who knows how much longer they'll still exist? Even if it's an 8pm show rather than a 2am show, Underworld in a knockout.
As far as Trent vs. Kanye... NIN were poor when I saw them. Lots of energy but to no end. There will be a LOT more ladies in Kanye's crowd, at the very least.
