She & Him, Takin' It Breezy
Zooey Deschanel, the She of She & Him, looks resplendent in a bright blue dress, with a matching blue flower in her long black hair. Along with guitarist M. Ward, and occasionally a backing band, she plays perfectly breezy folk-pop. (If only there was more actual breeze; it's pretty humid.) It's hardly exciting, and as an actress she's a mighty fine singer, but otherwise she's not too exceptional.
When she tackles classics like "You Really Got a Hold on Me" and "I Put a Spell on You" it lacks any sort of real emotional punch. This is music to listen to while filling up some overpriced food and getting ready for the afternoon excitement of Lil Wayne and the Stooges. And that's exactly what many people are doing.
Also, standing at the spot right between the Dance Tent, where Rabbit in the Moon is doing its hard techno thing, and the South Stage where She & Him are playing makes for perhaps the worst mashup ever.

I enjoyed them, not life changing but quite charming. Now where is weezy?
