Billy Joel and Elton John Confirmed for Nationals Park

Our sources were right. The first ever concert at Nationals Park will be a pairing of Billy Joel and Elton John, and it will be on Saturday, July 11. It's one of a handful of summer ballpark dates for the duo on their Face 2 Face Tour 2009.

Tickets go on sale Saturday and range from $56.50 to $182.50. This is not a Ticketmaster event. It's all through and charge by phone (1-888-632-6287). So when something goes wrong, don't immediately blame Ticketmaster, although they probably did something indirectly to deserve some blame.

Interested in what you might hear? Here's a sample set list from the last Face to Face tour. Expect some changes, but perhaps not too many.
