Richie Havens Is Going Back to the Garden; Eminem Shows Off Pill-Popping 'Relapse' Cover


Headlines: Richie Havens, who opened the Woodstock Music & Art Fair in 1969, will return to the festival site in upstate New York for an Aug. 14. performance. Unclear whether his anniversary set will be as long as the legendary one he turned in 40 years ago. "I was supposed to sing 40 minutes, which I did, and from the side of the stage they go, 'Richie, four more songs?' I went back and did that, then it was, 'Four more songs?' And that kept happening 'til two hours and 45 minutes later I had sung every song I know." ... Eminem's "Relapse" cover was unveiled via everybody's favorite new publicity wire, Twitter. It features Eminem's likeness created from of a pile of pills. (Get it? "Relapse"? Prescribed by Dr. Dre?) ... Hip-hop-hating Fox News blowhard Bill O'Reilly wants that weed-loving American citizen Snoop Dogg to be deported. ...The documentary that Lil Wayne doesn't want the world to see will not be stopped by the courts, at least not in California. A judge has denied Weezy's request to block the release of "The Carter." ... The Milli Vanilli story is coming to the big screen. Girl you know it's, girl you know it's, girl you know it's ... Music documentaries aren't exactly an easy sell. That's especially true of performance films featuring current bands. Says Sony Pictures Classics exec Tom Bernard: "I think people would rather go see the concert." ... Ann and Nancy Wilson are in (vocal) harmony on the upcoming Heart album. ... Eagles bassist Timothy B.
