NJ AG Sues Springsteen Scalpers For Scalping Giants Stadium Tickets They Don't Actually Have


Headlines: If it's a Bruce Springsteen show, then there has to be a problem with tickets, right? The Star-Ledger reports that New Jersey's Attorney General has filed charges against three scalpers ticket resellers for illegally selling and advertising tickets to the upcoming Bruuuuuuuuuuuce shows at Giants Stadium. You can't advertise and sell them if you don't have them, and the three scalpers ticket resellers don't, since tickets haven't yet gone on sale. ... Dr. Dre would like to be a pepper, too. He'd also like to share a bit of a beat from his long-delayed "Detox" album via a Dr. Pepper commercial. It's significant because it suggests that he's finally coming down the home stretch with the album that should have been released five years ago, back when people still bought albums. ... Kris Allen for governor? Somehow, AT&T will probably fix that vote, too. ... Pitbull says he can absolutely explain why he punched a fan in the face during a concert. He was merely defending himself from having money thrown in his face by a guy he'd pulled onstage. Self-defense all the way! "No way, shape or form was that my intention. It was more like a reaction, self-defense. Mind you, I've been in shows before and I done got hit with a bottle. Any time I see anything moving onstage, I'm cautious about it. You feel me? As soon as he threw that money, it was on from there." ... Spectacular, one of those pervy Pretty Ricky guys, is totally not gay, says Spectacular. It was like a gauntlet-throwing thing or something, and he wore "them tight man drawers" to show off his body, fool. "The underwear was for the ladies." ... Rihanna will be subpoenaed to testify at a preliminary hearing in Chris Brown's court case, and her attorney says she'll comply with the order. ... Depeche Mode has finally revealed what was ailing Dave Gahan, who was rushed to the hospital just before a canceled concert in Athens. Turns out that he had a malignant tumor in his bladder. He's had surgery to remove it, and DM's "Tour of the Universe" is set to resume early next month. They're at Nissan on July 28. ... Scott Weiland was kind of a cheesy square in high school, and Rolling Stone has the photographic evidence. It's part of a gallery of high school yearbook photos of famous musicians. Also included: Prince with a blowout fro, Travis Barker with long hair and pimples, Kirk Hammett with nerdy glasses and something close to a bowl cut and a totally pervy looking Tommy Lee. ...
