Chris Richards checked in with his thoughts on "This Is It," the first unreleased track by Michael Jackson that will be featured in the movie of the same name. It opens in theaters on Oct. 28. The verdict?

"It's a dawdling love song that dissolves into a sweet, middling mush -- halfway between the up-tempo sunbeams we hoped for and dishwater balladry we expected. Fans may have wanted This Is It! but the result is more This Is It?"
