Yesterday's Papers

nathan williamsIn less than a year, Wavves (aka Nathan Williams) has gone from next-big-thing to next-big-backlash. (Richard A. Lipski/TWP)

In case you missed it in Sunday's paper, our own Chris Richards had a very nice read about the half-life that bands experience in the accelerated world of the blogosphere. It focused on Nathan Williams of lo-fi rockers Wavves, who Richards caught up with prior to his show there two weeks ago.

So is the blogosphere too disposable? Does it foster rivalry and conflict? Or do bands ultimately receive the fate they deserve?
