Hitman: Blood Money and Reservoir Dogs
Accidents happen, but moreso when Agent 47 is in town.
I just finished an interesting meeting where I rigged a barbecue grill to explode the next time somebody uses it, threw somebody off a balcony, and infiltrated a high-security area wearing a chicken suit.
Of course I'm talking about Eidos's next big hit -- literally. Hitman: Blood Money comes out May 31, and I got to play this title featuring the big bald guy.
Unlike previous Hitman games, the missions in this one are intricately linked and your performance in one level dictates how many people will be able to recognize you in future levels.
At the end of each level a newspaper article is generated that describes the hit that you just participated in -- the number of shots fired, type of gun used, and even a picture of the character if enough people saw you and were able to give a description to reporters.
The game should be out for Xbox, PS2, 360 and PC.
Another game that's kind of farther out as far as launch date is Reservoir Dogs, based on the Quentin Tarantino movie. The game features voice talent from several of the actors as well as full 70s soundtrack.
There are 10 third-person shooter levels and six driving missions.
The game follows the movie but not exactly -- a lot of events in the movie are not on camera, like the actual bank robbery. The game follows those moments, letting you now what happened when the movie characters were offscreen.
