PS3: The Lines Begin

Some die-hard video-game fans in Burbank, Calif. have already started lining up outside a Best Buy for the PlayStation 3--more than a week before the new console goes on sale.
The device, which is expected to be in short supply this fall and winter, doesn't hit stores until next Friday, Nov. 17. According to one video-game blog, there have been seven guys in line at the Burbank Best Buy since Monday.
On South Park, the character Cartman tried a different approach when he found that the wait for the Nintendo Wii was driving him crazy: He froze himself, and gave instructions that he be thawed out on the Wii's launch day, Nov. 19.
