Digital Experience Highlights

LAS VEGAS - Random highlights from the Digital Experience show, which on Sunday night filled a hall at Caesar's Palace with dozens of exhibits from various tech companies:
* A thick Bluetooth watch from Sony Ericsson that alerts you of new calls and text messages. Yeah, kind of ridiculous -- except an hour later, I saw another journalist's watch light up with the name of an incoming caller.
* LG's BH100 "Super Multi Blue Player," a hybrid HD DVD/Blu-Ray video disc player. LG says the player will go on sale for $1,199 in February..
* A new line of digital picture frames from Kodak, starting at $129. All include multi-format memory card slots; a high-end, $279 model adds WiFi, which lets it download pictures from Kodak's EasyShare Gallery site.
* An HP HDTV that connects to your computer over a home network, allowing access to the machine's music and photo collections, as well as movies downloaded from sites like CinemaNow.
