Google: Web Surfers Hungry For Election Info

If Google search queries are a barometer of what topics are occupying the nation's thoughts, you can probably guess what Web surfers are consulting the Internet about today.
As voters head to the polls today, it looks like they're also looking for information about how McCain and Obama are faring, as 87 of the top 100 Google search queries today are election related. "Exit polls 2008" is number one and "mail delivery on election day" is at the 100th spot on a recently-updated list of Google search trends.
