Facebook to unveil simplified privacy settings Wednesday
Facebook plans to reveal simplified privacy settings on Wednesday morning (10:30 a.m. PST) for its 400 million users.
The company has scheduled a conference call with reporters at 10:30 a.m. to discuss the changes to its privacy policy. The move comes after Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg wrote in an Op-ed in The Washington Post that the company is responding to concerns raised by consumers and lawmakers that recent privacy policy changes had caused confusion. In some cases, the company has exposed subscribers' profile information more broadly to the Web.
Stay tuned.
