More on Yahoo social move
Here's more on Yahoo's expansion of social networking through its e-mail program.
Anne Toth, head of privacy for Yahoo, said in an interview last Friday that the company briefed the Federal Trade Commission on a "high level" of its plan to expand the applications for sharing through its e-mail. The company has been working toward today's announcement for the past couple years, slowly using its e-mail to share updates. When asked if how the company's email users will respond, she said test groups responded positively.
