CES Video: NAB president responds to criticism over airwaves
Gordon Smith, head of the National Association of Broadcasters, responds in a video interview to calls for broadcasters to give up airwaves leased from the government. CEA President Gary Shapiro had said in his convention opening speech that "squatters" on such spectrum should turn those airwaves over for auction so mobile broadband providers can boost capacity on their networks.
