Federal judge denies bid of three linked to Wikileaks to keep Twitter information secret

U.S. Magistrate Judge Theresa Carroll Buchanan issued a 20-page opinion Friday in Alexandria that denied the request of three people who are linked to WikiLeaks to keep the U.S. government from looking at some of their Twitter information.

Senate antitrust subcommittee chair to focus on Google

Senator Herb Kohl (D-Wis.), chairman of the anitrust subcommittee, said he will put special focus on Google in the current session, examining its bid to expand through acquisitions and search industry practices.

FTC: Identity theft, Internet auctions, services among top 10 complaints

The Federal Trade Commission said Tuesday that the top complaint it received from consumers last year was over identity theft. Also high on the list were complaints about Internet and telecommunications services and Internet auctions.
