Gregg Leads St. Andrew's to MAC Golf Title
Junior Tim Gregg shot a 2-under par 69 to lead St. Andrew’s to the Mid-Atlantic Conference golf championship on Tuesday at Montgomery Village Golf Club.
Potomac School seniors Robert Lobban and Brian Carson tied for second place at 78, helping the Panthers finish with a team score of 337, four strokes behind St. Andrew’s.
St. James sophomore Brian Carson was fourth with an 81. Sidwell Friends seniors Teddy Bazil and Peter Suyderhaud tied for fifth at 84, helping the Quakers to a third place team finish. Joey Lane of Flint Hill also shot 84 as the Huskies finished fourth with a team score of 353.
Rounding out the individual top 10 were Sidwell freshman Aaron Lewin and senior Nick Raab at 85 and St. Andrew’s senior Jeremy Burke at 86.
Georgetown Day finished fifth in the team competition at 393, with Maret sixth at 406.
