Update: Slight Tweak of Reilly's Totals
After charting the game film, W.T. Woodson coaches have senior quarterback Connor Reilly completing 36 of 54 passes for 499 yards Friday night in the 43-42 win at then-No. 17 Lake Braddock.
Those are minor adjustments from the Cavaliers' previous totals. The 36 completions puts Reilly in a three-way tie for the third most in a game in state history. The 499 yards are fifth on the all-time list.
And there are seven Woodson receivers thinking: Man, if I had just fought for an extra yard, he could have thrown for 500.
Probably more comforting to just blame it on an official's bad spot.
