A look inside the Player's Lounge -- Va. Tech-bound Brian Laiti and Jared Velasquez
In this week's edition of the Player's Lounge, Washington Post reporter B.J. Koubaroulis sits down with Robinson RB Jared Velasquez and senior LB Brian Laiti -- a 6-foot-4 in-season All-Met who is bound for Virginia Tech.
Right now, Robinson might be the Virginia AAA Northern Region's most tested contender heading into the playoffs.
The Rams (8-1, 3-1 Virginia AAA Concorde District) have wins over Lake Braddock, Oakton, Chantilly and T.C. Williams -- all teams that head into tonight's games having solidified a playoff spot or hoping to do that with a win and help tonight.

Velasquez heads into tonight's game against Centreville averaging more than seven yards per carry and 117 yards per game, while Laiti is the defense's unquestioned leader.
Here's a look at last week's edition of The Player's Lounge with W.T. Woodson QB Connor Reilly and RB James Johnson.
The Player's Lounge is a segment on The Fairfax Sports Report -- a weekly television show that broadcasts on Cox, Comcast and Verizon FIOS and features some of the area's top preps reporters, including B.J. Koubaroulis of The Washington Post, Paul Frommelt of The Fairfax Times, Phil Murphy of DigitalSports.com and host and producer Monika Moore. The show airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m., Thursdays at 7 p.m. and Friday's at 2 a.m. on Channel 10.

Having analyzed Westfield's season (ups and downs) maybe a little press is in the offing..."The Rams (8-1, 3-1 Virginia AAA Concorde District) have wins over Lake Braddock, Oakton, Chantilly and T.C. Williams -- all teams that head into tonight's games having solidified a playoff spot or hoping to do that with a win and help tonight."
Who was the Rams only loss to? Who won the Concorde District outright?
