Live blogging from Va. Volleyball state finals

I'm back at the Siegel Center at VCU for a pair of state finals today. Keep coming back for live updates from the following matches throughout the afternoon...

AA final
Loudoun County def. Grafton 25-17, 25-12, 25-10
It's a three-peat for the Raiders as they dominated from start to finish, knocking off the previously undefeated Clippers in under an hour.

AAA final
Loudoun Valley def. South County 19-25, 25-16, 25-22, 25-22
The Vikes win their fourth state title and first at the AAA level.

3:47 - Loudoun Valley wins it in four, 19-25, 25-16, 25-22, 25-22.

3:44 - Nicole Bennett's timely dump puts the Vikings two points from the set and the title. They lead 23-20.

3:39 - SC takes a 16-14 lead and the Vikes want to talk it over.

3:36 - We're tied at 10-10 in a back-and-forth fourth set.

3:25 - The Stallions can't handle Meredith Bland's service on set point and the Vikes take it for a 2-1 lead, 25-22. (LV 2-1)

3:23 - Morgan Clark gets a lucky roll across the top of the net for a kill to give the Vikes a 22-21 lead in the third. South County calls timeout. Taylor Maddox serving for Valley.

3:19 - We're all square at 18-18 in the third. Nicole Bennett to serve for Valley.

3:17 - Sorry for the long delay...had to file the first story. Your update - We're tied at one set apiece. The Stallions took the opening set 25-19 and the Vikings battled back to claim the second 25-16. (SC 1, LV 1)

1:26 - Colleen Bowlds blocks the final ball into the open court and the Raiders have done it again, sweeping Grafton in the final 25-17, 25-12, 25-10. This one was never in doubt. (LC 3-0)

1:23 - The Raiders have absolutely dominated the third set and the match. Jenna Strange serving with County looking to close it out, 22-8.

1:20 - LC leading 16-6 now.

1:15 - Grafton stops the bleeding, but it's 10-1.

1:12 - It's 6-0 Raiders in the third. They're trying to run away with this.

1:07 - Hanna's ace ends the second set, 25-12. The Raiders are one set away from a three-peat. (LC 2-0)

1:05 - Raiders lead 21-10 after a Grafton error. A couple big points from Strange during a 7-3 run.

12:57 - 12-6 LC, five straight points for the Clippers.

12:53 - The Raiders are off and running in the second, winning the first six points on two kills and a block from Region II player of the year Juliane Hanna. Time out Clippers.

12:47 - Hanna took five straight points on her serve and then Dancy puts an exclamation point on the set with a deep kill to end it, 25-17. (LC 1-0)

12:45 - The Raiders are rolling now, after big blocks by Molly Baldwin and one from Erin Dancy, they've taken a commanding 21-16 lead in the set. Juliane Hanna and her jump serve coming up...

12:39 - The Raiders just reeled off five straight points on Kathleen Horvath's serving and a couple big kills from Jenna Strange and Juliane Hanna. LC leads 13-10 in the opening set.
