Volleyball region tournament brackets

Regional play begins this week and culminates with four championship matches on Saturday. Here's a look at all four tournament brackets...

Flint Hill takes second straight ISL title

Flint Hill defeated Episcopal 3-0 in the ISL AA Tournament championship match. The scores were 25-12, 25-18, 25-7 as the Huskies captured their second consecutive tournament championship and added another trophy to the city title they won earlier in the week. Junior Marilyn Peizer led the team in kills with 10, while junior Tori Janowski added 9 and junior Audrey Dotson totaled 7. Junior Taylor Nelson had 17 assists while Janowski recorded 15. Flint Hill received solid defensive play from juniors Jess Fellows and Meaghan Stertzer and senior Sarah Compton and Audrey Dotson blocked well in the middle for the Huskies. Flint Hill has an overall record of 28-2 as they head into state tournament play.
