Broad Run names new lacrosse coaches
The reigning boys' and girls' Dulles District and Region II lacrosse champions finally have new head coaches. In a release sent out this afternoon, Broad Run Athletic Director Jack Kirby announced Ryan Richardson and Erin Stacey will be the new head coaches of the respective teams.
The Spartans swept the Region II titles in 2008 before both fell in the state semifinals.The boys finished the season with a 16-4 mark while the Lady Spartans ended their campaign at (15-5).

There's plenty to cheer about at Broad Run now that the Spartans have filled their lacrosse coaching vacancies. (Tracy A. Woodward, TWP)
Boys
Ryan Richardson
Richardson is originally from the Syracuse area and played at Lynchburg College. He served as a varsity assistant coach at West Springfield last season. Richardson currently teaches in Fairfax County.
Girls
Erin Stacey
Stacey played high school lacrosse in Florida and is a graduate of the University of Florida where she was a member of the Gators' women's lacrosse team (at that time, it was a club sport at UF). Stacey teaches in Loudoun County.
