A look inside The Player's Lounge: W.T. Woodson's Max Lenox and John Schoof

In this week's edition of The Player's Lounge, Post reporter B.J. Koubaroulis interviews W.T. Woodson guard Max Lenox and teammate John Schoof.

W.T. Woodson guards Max Lenox and John Schoof have played basketball together since they were in elementary school.

"But we've never gotten a chance to play together in high school," said Lenox, a senior who is one of the Virginia AAA Northern Region's top scorers.

Lenox, who sat out all of last season with a knee injury, is back on his scoring tear, but Schoof, who came into the season as a top recruit, suffered an ankle injury that has kept him out since the preseason.

In this week's episode of the The Player's Lounge, Lenox and Schoof talk with Post reporter B.J. Koubaroulis about their goals, expectations and more.

The Player's Lounge is a segment on The Fairfax Sports Report -- a weekly television show that broadcasts on Cox, Comcast and Verizon FIOS and features some of the area's top preps reporters, including B.J. Koubaroulis of The Washington Post, Paul Frommelt of The Fairfax Times, Phil Murphy of DigitalSports.com and host and producer Monika Moore. The show airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m., Thursdays at 7 p.m. and Friday's at 2 a.m. on Channel 10.
