WCAC takes its lumps
It was an ugly weekend for the league that likes to bill itself as the best in the Washington area, as Washington Catholic Athletic Conference powers DeMatha, Gonzaga and O’Connell all lost in the Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Mass., while Good Counsel fell in the Butch McAdams Invitational.
All of the losses were to well-regarded opponents, but that doesn’t mean the league's teams didn’t return to school a bit bruised after the three-day weekend.
Josh Barr has more on the WCAC's rough weekend at PrepsPost-Maryland; check it out here.
