Volleyball: Northern Region all-district teams

The districts that make up the AAA Nothern Region announced their all-district teams over the weekend. Outside hitters Susie Murach (Concorde District), Elyse Bush (National) and Lindsay Stephens (Patriot) joined setter Elysse Richardson (Liberty) as the district players of the year.

Football Night in Loudoun County

Week 3 was an impressive showing for Loudoun's football programs as county schools posted a 7-2 record, with one of those losses coming in an inter-county battle. No. 5 Broad Run held its place and No. 13 Stone Bridge moved up in our weekly rankings and two more teams - Loudoun County and Freedom - remained undefeated on the season.
