Without a true go-to player this season, the Patriots are all about balance. Less than three points separate the scoring averages of the team's top scorer and its fifth-leading scorer. In Mason's 56-55 CAA opening win at Drexel on Saturday, the Patriots had scoring parity to the extreme. No player scored in double figures but six players scored six or more points. George Mason has played 1,196 basketball games in its history and this was the first time no player scored in double figures and the Patriots won. It was only the sixth time in school history that no player reached double figures in a game.
