It's a decidedly more subdued reception for Villanova, the second team to take the court during today's open practices. It's tough to say how seriously teams take these practices, but the Wildcats appear to be sticking to some kind of routine. While Michigan State concluded its practice minutes earlier with a layup line's worth of acrobatic dunk attempts, Villanova players are currently lying on the floor doing a series of stretching exercises using a long pieces of green elastic.

The Villanova cheerleaders, while this is going on, are attempting call-and-response chants with fans that don't appear to be here.

Anyway, it's much easier to hear, although the Villanova pep band is attempting to fill the silence.
