7-footer Taking His Time
National Christian center Anthony McClain, a third-team All-Met last season, entertained coaches from Connecticut and Pittsburgh during home visits over the past week, Coach Trevor Brown said. Virginia Tech and Charlotte also remain in the mix for the 7-foot senior, Brown said.
McClain has yet to take any official campus visits and does not have any scheduled at the moment, Brown said.
"There's no hurry," Brown said. "Got a lot of stuff on the table."
Among other National Christian players, Brown said:
Forward Antonio Hayman is getting interest from Ball State - where Ronnie Thompson is entering his first year as head coach -- and Louisiana Tech.
Guard Brian McMikle is being recruited by St. Bonaventure, Marshall, Oklahoma and Charlotte.

What about Georgetown? I was under the impression that McLain has always had Georgetown at the top of his list and his reason for waiting until the spring was a reflection of the fact that GU doesn't have a scholarship for him (but expects to have one if Green and/or Hibbert leave for the NBA).
