A friend of mine passes on this story of the absurd where the quarterback's father served as an "advanced scout" by posing as a college recruiter and filming practice of the team's upcoming opponent.

At least the guy was creative. Most Washington-area football coaches are paranoid about other teams watching their practice from hillsides.
