Another Marylander Going to Mason

St. John's Coach Paul DeStefano just called to say that forward Vlad Moldoveanu, a 6-foot-10 Romanian, has committed to play for George Mason.

Earlier this week, as two-time All-Met Chris Wright announced for Georgetown, some teammates were joking with Moldoveanu about how he was going to Mason. Well, it didn't take long for that to happen.

Hey Josh,
Are you asleep at the wheel? Georgetown's been having an amazing couple of days in your absence, securing commitments from top area juniors Chris Braswell (DeMatha) and Jason Clark (O'Connell), not to mention Omar Wattad from Tennessee. You reported Chris Wright, but the hits have kept on coming since then!!
